Hotel Thalhof
Gregor Loewit has put a lot of passion and own initiative into this hotel at the lake of Kaltern. The sophisticated and consistent appoach of placing the volume in the landscape and the precise use of materials let the 120 bed hotel appear as if it would have been here evers since. Of course despite its characteristic and contemporary design and without superficial analogies to the local building culture. This said, it doesn't actually matter that some parts of the interior aren't perfectly composed but have been arranged by the owners. It even shows clearly that all voices have been heard as a conscious part of the process.
